The Alabama State Conference NAACP Hall of Honor recognizes NAACP members in good standing whose lifelong work and commitment have significantly advanced the mission of the NAACP and uplifted communities across Alabama.
Nominees are individuals who have demonstrated consistent service, civic involvement, and a spirit of leadership that has positively impacted their local branches, counties, and the state at large. The Della M. Bryant Oratorical Contest invites Alabama youth ages 5–18 to showcase their public speaking skills at the 2025 Alabama NAACP State Convention. Participants will deliver prepared speeches on assigned themes, with cash prizes awarded in each age group. The contest takes place Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Hotel Capstone in Tuscaloosa.
