The Foot Soldier Scholarship, awarded annually at our Bridge Crossing Gala, honors the courage of civil rights activists by supporting students committed to social justice and community service. This scholarship empowers the next generation to carry forward the legacy of equality.
Please provide a one-page or less narrative of why the individual, organization, or committee should receive the award you are submitting them for. You may also use attachments such as newspaper articles and other any relative supporting documents. These articles and supporting documents will NOT count as your one page. Please include a photo of the person. On a separate sheet of paper including your name, your telephone number, and a email address, this page must be enclosed with the award nomination packet. You will be only contacted if the Award Committee have questions or need more information.
